Welcome to the Lime Editorial website.

Lime Editorial profile pictureLime Editorial was set up by me, mental health journalist Susannah Strong to provide clients with responsive editorial consultancy and project management.

I have over 20 years experience of reporting on health, mental health  and social care issues. I have also worked in public relations and headed up a busy press office for a national charity ( Mind).

Today I continue to write and campaign on mental health issues and also work as an editorial consultant for clients who have included the NHS,  the Department of Health and the national voluntary sector.

At Lime Editorial I work together with  design and web-development associates to provide clients with  a complete editorial project management service from brief to print – or live website.

Football

In the past few years, I  have worked with the Football Association and the Professional Football Association on a campaign to reduce the stigma of mental health in football.  This led to my work on The Footballers’ Guidebook  published by the Professional Footballers’ Association in June 2011. The Guidebook received international media coverage following the death of  Wales manager Gary Speed in November 2011 and the PFA has now sent it to 50,000 players and ex-players nationally. The guidebook helped promote mental health and  bring attention to the stigma that mental health has in football.
